Cappella Sansevero — The Veiled Christ (with Guide)
Met at 3:50 PM at Piazza San Domenico Maggiore 16 — guided tour, 40 minutes. A marble sculpture of Christ beneath a burial shroud so impossibly fine it appears to be actual wet fabric. Done in 1753. People genuinely gasp. The single most extraordinary thing on the entire trip.
